Munz: Jets continue road trip in Dallas against Stars

The Winnipeg Jets continue a four-game Central Division road trip tonight in Dallas.
Hustler and Lawless begin our game day coverage at 4pm on TSN 1290 Radio. Rick Ralph hosts the Official Jets pre-game show at 5pm. Dennis Beyak, Shane Hnidy and Brian Munz will have the play-by-play at 6pm.
The Jets (4-5-2) go into this game in sixth place, two points up on the Stars (4-5). Winnipeg trails St. Louis by two points. The Blues are in Nashville tonight.
This is the second game of a five-game regular season series between the Jets and Stars. Dallas were 4-1 winners at MTS Centre 15 days ago. Tyler Seguin led the Stars with two goals and two assists.
Ondrej Pavelec (3-5-2, 3.06, 902) will start in goal for the Jets.
Head coach Claude Noel announced this morning Evander Kane, who did not take part in this morning's pregame skate, is a game-time decision. Noel would not get specific when questioned about Kane's status and just said he's "banged up".
If Kane does not play, expect Chris Thorburn to return to action. He has missed the last nine games due to injury.

Blake Wheeler is on a two-game goal scoring streak.
Andrew Ladd (four assists) and Zach Bogosian (two assists) are on two-game point streaks.
Dallas is coming off a 5-1 win Thursday night at home over Calgary.
Kari Lehtonen (3-1, 1.41, .956) will start in goal. He is 2-0 lifetime against Atlanta/Winnipeg with a 0.64 goals against average and .980 save percentage.
Stars Projected Lines:
Captain Jamie Benn is on a five-game point streak (two goals and five assists).
Shawn Horcoff has one goal and two assists in his last two games.
Brenden Dillon has scored in back-to-back games.
Alex Goligoski returns to the line-up after being a healthy scratch Thursday.
Former Manitoba Moose Kevin Connauton made his NHL debut against the Flames. He played 16:05 and was +2.
Winnipeg product Ryan Garbutt will not play tonight due to suspension.
Yesterday, Dallas re-assigned Nesbitt, Manitoba native Aaron Rome to the AHL's Texas Stars. He has not played an NHL game yet this season due to injury.
Following tonight's game, Winnipeg flies to Denver and play the Avalanche tomorrow night, 7pm on TSN 1290 and TSN Jets. Colorado, winners of three straight, lead the Central Division with a 9-1 record, and are coming off a 4-2 win over Carolina last night.
