The Vancouver Province reports that Enrico Ciccone, on the TV show "Le Match," said former Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche defenceman Patrice Brisebois claims that the Vancouver Canucks could be ready to ship a package of players including backup goaltender Cory Schneider to the Anaheim Ducks for Corey Perry.

Nashville Predators defenceman Ryan Suter told reporters at All-Star media day on Friday that he does not plan to sign a new contract before the end of the season. His decision could force Predators general manager David Poile to move him prior to the February 27 Trade Deadline.
