With the NHL Trade Deadline only weeks away, teams are making decisions on whether to buy or sell and deciding which players can make the biggest difference or hold the greatest value.

Check out today's trade rumours and speculation from around the NHL beat. And follow TSN.ca each day until Deadline Day for all the updates.

Mo On The Move?

According to the Toronto Sun, Travis Moen could make a return to the San Jose Sharks.

The paper suggests the Sharks are the frontrunner to acquire Moen, who was acquired by the Sharks from the Anaheim Ducks in 2009. He had three goals and two assists in 19 regular-season games and was scoreless in six playoff games with the Sharks.

Moen is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Targeting Tuomo

It's three weeks before the trade deadline and the Ottawa Senators are in a playoff spot so they could be in a buying mood. Kevin Allen of the USA Today reports the Senators are looking at adding Tuomo Ruutu to improve their offensive production but the price could be high.

On The Defensive

Defence is always at a premium at the trade deadline and that could be good news for the Tampa Bay Lightning. As Damian Cristodero of the Tampa Bay Times writes, with Marc-Andre Bergeron close to returning from a back injury and Bruno Gervais and Brendan Mikkelson playing better, the Lightning have some depth on the blue line.

Matter of Time

Despite giving up the second most goals in the Western Conference this season, Chicago Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman is not looking to upgrade the goaltender position before the deadline. According to Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune, Bowman is confident Corey Crawford will turn things around in time.

Buyers or Sellers?

Teams at the top of the Southeast Division may face a difficult dilemma leading up to the deadline. As David Shoalts of the Globe and Mail writes, the Florida Panthers, Washington Capitals and Winnipeg Jets could go from buyers to sellers quickly because, if they aren't leading the division, they could fall out of playoff contention.
