The Way to San Jose?
Kevin Kurz of CSNBayArea.com says that Rick Nash would not fit in well with the San Jose Sharks. One of the big reasons is that San Jose would have to send back at least one established NHL player, and Kurz believes that there are several players whom the Sharks cannot part with.
Needing "D"
Tom Gulitti of NorthJersey.com says that the Devils are in the hunt for a defenceman. He notes that with blueliners Henrik Tallinder and Adam Larsson still sidelined, the need is getting greater with the Devils in the thick of the playoff hunt. Possible options include Minnesota's Marek Zidlicky, Tampa's Kubina and Winnipeg's Johnny Oduya.
The Crosby Dilemma
Shelly Anderson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette notes that the Penguins could use some closure on Sidney Crosby. The team has been waiting - and will continue to wait - for their captain. But Anderson points out that if the team knew for sure that he would be out for the rest of the regular season, they could keep him on long-term injured reserve and then spend some of his salary cap hit to potentially acquire other players.
