TSN platforms will broadcast 237 NHL regular season games during the 2012-13 season.
TSN is broadcasting 88 regular season games nationally including 74 games featuring Canadian teams, while TSN2 airs 63 games. Highlighting the TSN schedule is the annual Hockey Hall of Fame Game (New Jersey Devils at Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, Nov. 9) that airs on the network for the first time.
In addition to its national broadcast package, TSN will broadcast 56 regional Winnipeg Jets games on TSN Jets and 30 Montreal Canadiens games on TSN Canadiens.
TSN's national broadcast package is part of the network's multi-year, multimedia rights agreement with the NHL that also includes national coverage of the first three rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
TSN also retains English-language exclusivity of Wednesday Night Hockey during which there are no other national or local NHL telecasts.
