TIGNES, France -- Canadian Mark McMorris captured the silver medal Friday in the men's snowboard slopestyle final at the Winter X Games.

American Shaun White won his second gold medal in as many days with a top score of 97. McMorris, a Regina native and double gold medallist in slopestyle and big air at Winter X Aspen 2012, earned the silver medal with a score of 90. His run included a frontside cab 1080 and frontside double cork 1080.

Eric Willett of the U.S. was third with a score of 88.

Montreal's Sebastien Toufant was sixth with a score of 77.33.

It has been three years since White won a slopestyle event at Winter X Games, capturing the gold in slopestyle and superpipe in 2009. White won the superpipe final Thursday night.
