University Place, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Three-time champion Tiger Woods struggled again on Friday, this time shooting a 6-over 76 and the 14-time major winner easily missed the cut at the U.S. Open Championship.

Having not won a major since the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, Woods finished 36 holes at 16-over-par 156, the worst score through two rounds of his professional career. Only Darren Clarke at plus-17 had a worse 36-hole score when Woods finished his round.

For the 10th time in his last 11 PGA Tour rounds, Woods bogeyed his first hole, which was the par-4 10th at Chambers Bay. He made just his second birdie of the week with a 3-foot conversion at the par-4 12th to get back to even-par on the day.

Woods fell to 2-over over his first nine when he tripped to bogeys on 14 and 18 to go along with four pars.

It was a good start to Woods' closing nine when he hit the par-5 first green in two and 2-putted for birdie.

However, Woods followed that up with back-to-back bogeys at two and three. He rattled off three pars from four before a dreadful finish.

Woods had long birdie putts on three consecutive holes to finish his round, but he 3-putted each one to close with a trio of bogeys.
