Rock give up early lead, fall to Bandits
Dhane Smith had a hat trick and Josh Byrne added a goal and an assist as the Buffalo Bandits beat the Toronto Rock 8-6 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League play. Thomas Hogarth added a goal and two assists to help the Bandits (12-3) erase an early 4-0 deficit and hand Toronto its fourth loss in a row.

Matt Vinc made 36 saves for the win.
Tom Schreiber paced the Rock (8-5) with two goals and a helper while Nick Rose stopped 53 shots in a losing cause.
