Kanye West recently attended Donda Academy’s first basketball game of the season this past weekend, showing support for his latest endeavour.

West recently established Donda Academy as he delves into the world of high school basketball. The prep school boasts some of the most talented young prospects in the country, including several top-tier caliber players in JJ Taylor, Rob Dillingham, Jahki Howard, and Zion Cruz.

Donda Academy’s inaugural basketball team made their debut against Minnesota Prep, losing 92-86 on Saturday. Dillingham led the team in scoring with 18 points, while Cruz was not far behind with 15.  Despite the loss, it was a solid start for the new team that is certainly showing potential in the early going of the season.

This new endeavour, named after his late mother and latest studio album, means a lot to the hip-hop icon as he was front and centre for the match. Overtime tweeted a video of Kanye and posse seated in attendance for warm-ups before the game was officially underway.
