NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Boston Red Sox have shuffled their pitching staff following a 19-inning win at Yankee Stadium.

The Red Sox activated right-hander Joe Kelly from the 15-day disabled list to start Saturday against New York. Kelly had been out with a strained right biceps.

Boston had planned in advance to have Kelly pitch in the middle game of the three-game series.

Knuckleballer Steven Wright was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket after pitching the final five innings and getting the win in the 6-5 victory that ended after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Wright threw 78 pitches in his season debut, giving up two runs and six hits.
