TORONTO - Antoine Bibeau made 25 saves for his second shutout of the season as the Toronto Marlies blanked the visiting Rochester Americans 3-0 on Sunday in American Hockey League action.

Brendan Mikkelson opened the scoring for the Marlies (8-13-2) 8:15 into the first period and Josh Leivo doubled the lead on the power play at 15:48 of the second.

Matt Frattin added an empty-net goal late in the third for Toronto, which has won three of its past four outings after dropping nine games in a row, while Connor Brown tacked on two assists.

Nathan Lieuwen kicked out 15-of-17 shots for the Americans (9-14-1), who were shut out for the second straight game.

The Marlies went 1 for 6 on the power play while Rochester failed to score on six chances of their own.
