The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed first baseman/outfielder Chris Colabello off waivers from the Minnesota Twins.

The 31-year-old has spent two seasons with the Twins, playing in 114 games and batting .214 with 13 home runs.

Colabello went undrafted and was signed as a free agent in 2012.

He was named the co-American League Player of the Week on April 6 after hitting .391 with four doubles, a home run and 11 RBIs.
