Blues' Shattenkirk to have abdominal surgery
St. Louis Blues defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk will undergo abdominal surgery, general manager Doug Armstrong said Monday. Shattenkirk was injured in Sunday's 4-3 win at Washington. He will have the surgery in the next seven to 10 days and be listed as week-to-week following the procedure.
