SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Dylan Blujus scored in overtime to lift the Syracuse Crunch over the Toronto Marlies 5-4 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Matt Taormina tied it 4-4 at the 15:23 mark of the second period for Syracuse (9-5-1), while Jeremy Morin, Joel Vermin and Michael Bournival also scored in regulation.

Kasperi Kapanen, Byron Froese and Colin Greening built a 3-0 lead for Toronto (9-5-2) by the 1:01 mark of the second. Kerby Rychel also found the back of the net for the Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Kristers Gudlevskis stopped 26 shots in net for the Crunch, while Antoine Bibeau made 28 saves for Toronto.

Syracuse went 2 for 7 on the power play and the Marlies were 1 for 5 with the man advantage.
