(SportsNetwork.com) - Marco Estrada received tons of run support in his last start for the Brewers. The problem for the right-hander was he gave up a career-high 10 hits along with seven runs over 5 2/3 innings.

Thankfully, Milwaukee was able to earn a wild 13-10 win over the Rockies on Friday at Coors Field.

Estrada will be back on the hill Wednesday afternoon when the Brewers conclude their three-game series against the Washington Nationals. He is 0-1 with a 5.73 ERA in three career games (two starts) against the Nationals.

Stephen Strasburg, who allowed a season-high nine hits during his last start on Friday against Atlanta, pitches this afternoon for the Nationals. The righty had piled up 121 strikeouts against just 20 walks this season, including an incredible number of 31 K's to only one free pass this month.

Strasburg didn't get a decision in that game versus the Braves. He's 0-1 over his last two starts after a three-game winning streak. He has faced the Brewers once before, July 2, 2013, when he struck out eight over seven shutout innings in a no-decision.

The latest battle of division leaders lasted nearly 5 1/2 hours last night. Ryan Zimmerman stroked a game-winning homer in the 16th inning, leading the Nationals to a 4-2 victory.

Adam LaRoche got aboard with a one-out single off reliever Mike Fiers (0-1) in the top of the 16th, then Zimmerman brought him home with a towering shot to left-center field to put the Nationals in front to stay.

Rafael Soriano retired the side in order during the home half of the 16th to earn his 18th save of the season.

Anthony Rendon also homered for the Nationals, who extended their winning streak to four games. Reliever Tyler Clippard (5-2) tossed a scoreless 15th inning to earn the win.

Nats starter Jordan Zimmermann conceded just two runs on six hits with nine strikeouts across six solid frames.

Ryan Braun supplied two hits and two RBI for Milwaukee, which has dropped the first two games of the series. Starter Yovani Gallardo gave up just one run on four hits in six innings of work.

Washington won four of the seven meetings with Milwaukee last season. The Nationals have won six of their last seven games at Miller Park.
