Broadhurst scores shootout winner as Monsters edge Rocket
Alex Broadhurst scored the shootout winner and helped set up a goal in regulation as the Cleveland Monsters edged the Laval Rocket 5-4 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

LAVAL, Que. — Alex Broadhurst scored the shootout winner and helped set up a goal in regulation as the Cleveland Monsters edged the Laval Rocket 5-4 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.
Kole Sherwood, Mark Letestu, Vitaly Abramov and Ryan Collins supplied the offence for the Monsters (19-16-5).
Alex Belzile, Xavier Ouellet, Daniel Audette and Alexandre Grenier replied for the Rocket (18-17-7), the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens.
Jean-Francois Berube made 36 saves and stopped 3-of-4 attempts in the shootout for Cleveland. Connor LaCouvee turned aside 34 shots and denied 2-of-4 attempts in the shootout for Laval.
Zac Dalpe also scored in the shootout for the Monsters. Alex Belzile scored the lone shootout goal for the Rocket.
Cleveland went 1 for 4 on the power play. Laval was 1 for 3 with the man advantage.
