The Bruins have signed defenceman John Moore to a five-year, $13.75 million contract.

The 27-year-old scored seven goals and 11 assists during the 2017-2018 regular season, and added one helper during the postseason for the New Jersey Devils. 

The 21st overall pick of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft (Columbus Blue Jackets), Moore has a combined 32 goals and 67 assists over 447 career games split between the Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Arizona Coyotes and the Devils. The defensemen posted a career-high 22 points (12 G, 10 A) with the Devils last season. 

Moore is coming off a three-year, $5 million contract.
