Canadiens send Andrighetto down to Bulldogs
The Montreal Canadiens assigned forward Sven Andrighetto to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League on Saturday. The team made the announcement after its 2-1 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Andrighetto played on a line Saturday night with Christian Thomas — who was recalled from the Bulldogs on Thursday — and Michael Bournival. He had 10:53 of ice time and went minus-1.
In 12 games with Montreal, Andrighetto recorded two goals and three points. In 21 games with Hamilton, the 21-year-old has recorded nine goals and 18 points.
In 85 career AHL regular-season games with the Bulldogs, the Switzerland native has 26 goals and 62 points.
The five-foot-nine, 186-pound forward was selected by the Canadiens in the third round (86th overall) of the 2013 NHL draft.
