Petr Mrazek has signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Mrazek was moved from the Detroit Red Wings to the Philadelphia Flyers last season, playing in a total of 39 games with the two teams.

With Philadelphia, Mrazek posted an .891 save percentage and 3.22 goals against average and the team elected not to give him a qualifying offer this week.

The 26-year old was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Mrazek spent six seasons with the Red Wings before being traded to the Flyers for a conditional third round pick in the 2018 draft and a conditional third round pick in the 2019 draft.

Mrazek has played in 184 career games, posting a .910 save percentage and a 2.66 goals against average
