AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed veteran centre Kendrick Perkins, while the Detroit Pistons will have two new players in uniform for Tuesday night's game between the clubs.

The 30-year-old Perkins was picked after being waived by Utah. He had been with Oklahoma City since 2011 and was sent to the Jazz in a three-way deal at the trading deadline. Utah waived him two days later, allowing him to come with Cleveland.

The Pistons picked up point guard Reggie Jackson as the third team in the Jazz-Thunder trade and also traded two players to Boston for Tayshaun Prince. Prince will play his first game for the Pistons in two years.

The Pistons filled one of two empty roster slots by signing D-League star Quincy Miller, who will be in uniform against Cleveland. They also picked up forward Shawne Williams, who won't play.
