ORLANDO, Fla. - Cleveland guard Iman Shumpert is expected to be activated for the first time this season when the Cavaliers visit the Magic.

Shumpert told reporters at Cavaliers morning shoot around Friday in Orlando that though he is active, whether or not he plays would depend on how he feels following the afternoon shooting session.

Shumpert has been out since sustaining a right wrist injury before training camp.

Point guard Kyrie Irving, who has not played since breaking his left kneecap in last season's NBA Finals, remains inactive. Guard J.R. Smith is out with an illness.

Coach David Blatt says there is a chance Irving could be activated during the current road trip, which ends Tuesday at Boston.
