The Toronto Argonauts released veteran offensive lineman Chris Van Zeyl on Saturday but he wasn't out of work long.
Hours later, he signed a two-year deal with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats worth $200,000 per season according to TSN's Farhan Lalji.
The 35-year-old native of Fonthill, Ont., played 156 games for the Argonauts after signing with the team in 2008.
Van Zeyl started 17 games at right tackle last season and was an East Division all-star for the fifth time.
The McMaster University product was selected by the Montreal Alouettes in the third round of the 2007 draft.
He won the Grey Cup with Toronto in 2012 and 2017.
