INDIANAPOLIS - Reggie Wayne has broken the Colts' franchise record for games played.

The 36-year-old receiver played in his 209th career game Sunday when Indianapolis hosted Houston. That breaks a tie with former teammate Peyton Manning, who played in 208 before he was released in March 2012.

Wayne broke the record by starting in what could be his final regular-season home game in Indy. His contract expires after the season and Wayne could become a free agent.

He could break another revered record before the day ends, too. If the Colts (9-4) beat the Texans (7-6), they would wrap up their second straight AFC South title and Wayne would break Manning's franchise record for most wins. Manning and Wayne are currently tied with 141 career wins with the Colts.
