WINNIPEG — Marko Dano scored early in the third period to lift the Manitoba Moose over the Texas Stars 3-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League play.

Skyler McKenzie and Tucker Poolman, on the power play, had the other goals for Manitoba (20-21-5), the minor-league affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.

Michael Mersch and Joel L'Esperance helped give the Stars (23-18-5) an early advantage before the Moose mounted a comeback.

Eric Comrie made 30 saves for the win in net while Philippe Desrosiers kicked out 23-of-26 shots in defeat.

Manitoba was 1 for 4 on the power play and Texas was scoreless on its lone attempt.
