CFL Wired: Grey Cup - 2nd Quarter
There was lots of jawing as the Argos and Stamps traded barbs in the second quarter as Calgary extended their lead before half-time.
It was a dramatic comeback in the fourth quarter, as the Argonauts scored 11 unanswered points, to beat the Stampeders and win the 105th Grey Cup.
The snow was coming down hard in the first quarter of the Grey Cup as Calgary linebacker Alex Singleton made his presence felt as the Stampeders got out to an early lead against the Argonauts.
The Stamps exploded for 22 points in the second quarter to erase a 14-0 Eskimos lead, and held on during a thrilling finish to clinch their second straight Grey Cup berth. Mike Reilly's 348 yards wasn't enough to dethrone the West champs, as Calgary ran for three touchdowns and Bo Levi Mitchell added one through the air
The Riders trailed for most of the game before they rattled off 18 points in the fourth quarter to take a three-point lead. Ricky Ray had other ideas however, as he led the Argos down the field in the final minutes for the game-winning touchdown. Ray finished with just 266 yards and a TD, but it was enough to propel Toronto to the Grey Cup.
Adarius Bowman caught two touchdown passes and C.J. Gable added a pair on the ground as the Edmonton Eskimos defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 39-32 in Sunday's CFL West Division semifinal.
Marcus Thigpen ran for 169 yards and a key TD to lead Saskatchewan to a record-setting 31-20 East Division semifinal win over the Ottawa Redblacks on Sunday before a TD Stadium sellout of 24,107.
