Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brandon League is expected to miss at least the first two months of the upcoming 2015 season due to inflammation in his right shoulder.

League, who hasn't pitched since March 9, underwent an MRI Wednesday which revealed the injury. The veteran right-hander will be prohibited from throwing for the next three weeks and is likely to begin the season on the 60-day disabled list, manager Don Mattingly told the Dodgers' official site.

The 32-year-old posted a 2.57 earned run average over 63 appearances last season, his third with the Dodgers since being acquired from Seattle in July of 2012.

League has pitched in at least 58 games in each of the last six seasons.
