The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Brian Gibbons to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.

The Massachusetts native scored 12 goals and 14 assists over 59 games with the New Jersey Devils during the 2017-2018 season.

Throughout his NHL career, Gibbons has registered 17 goals and 31 assists in 125 games split between the Devils, Penguins and Blue Jackets. During the Pens’ 2013-2014 playoff run, Gibbons contributed two goals and one assist over eight games.

The 28-year-old signed an entry-level contract with the Penguins as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He’s spent much of his career bouncing back-and-forth between NHL teams and their AHL affiliates.

Gibbons is coming off a one-year, two-way contract valued at $650K that he signed last summer.
