Jakob Silfverberg is staying on the Pond.

The Anaheim Ducks announced on Friday that they had signed the restricted free-agent right winger to a four-year extension. Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports that the deal is worth $15 million with an annual cap hit of $3.75 million.

Silfverberg, 24, is coming off of his first full season with the Ducks. In 81 games last season, Silfverberg tallied 13 goals and 26 assists. He led the league with nine markers in the shootout.

It was in the postseason where Silfverberg really shone. He scored four times and added 14 helpers in the Ducks' run to the Western Conference final.

A native of Gavle, Sweden, Silfverberg was originally acquired by the Ducks in July of 2013 in the deal that sent Bobby Ryan to the Ottawa Senators.

The 2009 second-round pick was a silver medalist at the 2014 Winter Olympics, representing Sweden.
