Aaron Rodgers is not done yet.

Staring down a 3-7 start and quite possibly early curtains for any hope of making the playoffs, Rodgers and the Packers rallied from down 14 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Dallas Cowboys 31-28 in overtime on Sunday.

While Green Bay ran the football at the highest rate ever in a Rodgers start, the back-to-back NFL MVP delivered his best performance of the season to date, going 14-of-20 for 224 yards and three touchdowns.

Now four days later, Rodgers and the Packers will go right back to work with another tough challenge in the form of the Tennessee Titans.

In case you missed it, only five NFL teams currently have a better record than Tennessee at 6-3.

In addition to their overall record, the Titans have covered the spread in seven straight games – the longest active streak in the NFL and the franchise’s longest cover streak in more than a decade.

Despite that run, FanDuel opened Green Bay -1.5, and the spread has moved in the direction of the home team and now sits at Green Bay -3 -120 this morning.

Will we see money continue to come in on the Packers and push the spread to 3.5?

That certainly seems conceivable.

Here’s the Morning Coffee for Thursday November 17th, 2022.

A FanDuel Best Bet For Thursday Night Football

Based on the overall market for Thursday Night Football, it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise if the spread for tonight’s game moved to Green Bay -3.5.

We have already seen a couple of sports books give the Titans the hook, and Packers -3 is currently juiced to -120 at FanDuel, signalling a potential move.

If you like Green Bay to win and cover and you haven’t bet it yet, then maybe you take them -3 at FanDuel.

If you think the Titans can at least keep this game close or that they have serious upset potential, then you might want to wait and see if you can get them +3.5 or at a better money line price than what we currently see at FanDuel this morning.

As for a best bet for tonight’s game, we are looking to build on a 90.5 per cent win rate with a 19-2 record with the FanDuel Best Bets featured in this column since late September.

Hopefully, we can add to that run with this pick.

I’m going to take A.J. Dillon over 33.5 rushing yards as my FanDuel Best Bet for Thursday Night Football.

As mentioned, the Packers ran the ball at a higher clip than they have in any other Rodgers start ever against the Cowboys.

Not only did they combine for 207 rushing yards and a score, but Rodgers had his most efficient game of the year, and most importantly – Green Bay won the game.

While he has underwhelmed fantasy managers all year, Dillon has recorded 34+ rushing yards in three straight games and eight of 10 games overall this season.

That includes 13 carries for 65 yards versus Dallas.

With freezing cold conditions, potential snow and wind in store tonight on a short week at Lambeau Field, Dillon and Aaron Jones should be busy again tonight for Green Bay.

The Titans have been solid against the run this season, but Bud Dupree and Amani Hooker are out, and Jeffery Simmons is questionable with an ankle injury.

The last time that the Packers faced the Titans at Lambeau Field, Dillon had 21 carries for 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 5.9 yards per carry.

All we need from him tonight is 34 rushing yards.

I’ll make Dillon over 33.5 rushing yards my FanDuel Best Bet for Thursday Night Football.

Steph Drops 50 In Loss To Suns

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander matched his career-high with 42 points, including the go-ahead three-point shot with 1.1 seconds to go as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Washington Wizards 121-120 on Wednesday night.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Steph Curry decided to top it with the best individual performance of the night in the late game.

For the 11th time in his career, Steph Curry scored 50+ points in a game.

Unfortunately for anybody who bet on the Golden State Warriors, it wasn’t enough as they lost 130-119 to the Phoenix Suns.

The Warriors are now 0-8 on the road to the start the season.

It’s the first time since 1989 that they’ve started a season with eight straight road losses.

Next up, Golden State will host the New York Knicks on Friday night, before going back on the road to visit the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.

Let’s see if they can finally win one on the road against the worst team in the league on Sunday night.
