After being swept by the Anaheim Ducks in their Western Conference first-round playoff series, the Winnipeg Jets cleaned out their lockers on Friday and expanded on the injuries that coach Paul Maurice spoke about on Wednesday night.

Maurice said after the team's 5-2 loss that as many as eight players were dealing with significant injuries, including four who incurred theirs against the Ducks.

Jacob Trouba was one such player. On Friday, the defenceman revealed that he incurred a broken bone in his left hand and will undergo surrgery to repair it soon. The injury occurred some time in Game 2, which left the 21-year-old only able to grip his stick with two fingers.Trouba had two assists in the four games and averaged 19:05 a night.

Andrew Ladd revealed the presence of a sports hernia, noting that he started to feel its effects as early as December. The Jets captain says he's unsure of how he will proceed with treatment as of yet. Ladd averaged 20:29 a night over the four games and chipped in an assist.

The team's joint-leading playoff scorer, Bryan Little, also revealed that he was dealing with injury concerns.Little, who had two goals and an assist in the series, said that he was dealing with several minor issues, including dislocated ribs. He did say that surgery would not be required.

Dustin Byfuglien was second among all Jets players in ice time at 23:00 a night, but he, too, incurred dislocated rib. The defenceman chipped in one assist in the four games.

Mathieu Perreault, who missed 20 regular season games, dealt with a pair of significant issues. The 27-year-old felt the effects of an ankle sprain (both high and low) that was incurred during the regular season, but also tore tendons in his hand during the Ducks series when he was pushed into a goalpost. Perreault had a pair of assists in the three games he played.
