The Edmonton Eskimos were hit hard by the injury bug in Week 1, with TSN's Farhan Lalji reporting four players appear headed for the six-game injury list.
Left tackle Tommie Draheim, linebacker Adam Konar, and defensive tackle Mike Moore, all starters for the Eskimos in their Week 1 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, appear destined to be placed on the six-game list. They will also likely be joined by slotback Jamill Smith, who was the team's primary return man.
Konar had a solid season for the Eskimos last year, finishing with 59 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack in 12 games. But the Vancouver native has had trouble staying healthy in his four years with the Eskimos.
Draheim is in his first season with the Eskimos after spending last year with the Ottawa Redblacks.
Moore and Smith are in their second seasons in Edmonton.
