Marco Estrada was stellar in his second start of the spring, with three innings of scoreless work giving up one hit and striking out three, but newly acquired left-hander Jaime Garcia gave up two runs on two hits in one inning pitched as the Toronto Blue Jays lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 on Sunday.

After taking the Blue Jays (3-7) took a lead on an RBI double hit by Jason Leblebijian in the top of the fourth inning, the Phillies (3-8) quickly tied it in the bottom of the inning. Outfielder Odubel Herrera drove in the tying run on a ground out and then Philadelphia went ahead on a throwing error by Blue Jays' shortstop Yangervis Solarte.

The Blue Jays' All-Star closer Roberto Osuna came in to pitch the fifth inning in relief of Garcia and pitched a clean inning, striking out one batter.

Ezequiel Carrera, fresh off returning to Blue Jays' camp as a non-roster invitee, got the team back even at 2-2 in the eighth inning on an RBI groundout, but the Phillies answered right back in the bottom of the frame.

Danny Ortiz hit an RBI single to give the Phillies the lead and Adam Rosales added a sacrifice fly off of lefty Craig Breslow.

Jays' outfielder Steve Pearce left the game with a limp and did not return to action. It is unclear if he will miss any signficant time or what injury was suffered.

The Blue Jays return home to Dunedin on Mar. 6 to take on the Atlanta Braves.
