Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada, who has a left glute injury, will continue to rehab with Double-A New Hampshire Monday when the Blue Jays take on the Minnesota Twins.

Getting the start in his place on Monday will be right-hander Luis Santos, the team announced Sunday afternoon.

It seemed probable that Estrada, who was placed on the disabled list on July 13, would be ready to rejoin the Blue Jays’ pitching rotation shortly after the All-Star break, but it looks like he may need more time.

Estrada is 4-7 on the season with a 4.72 ERA, while Santos has an ERA of 7.88 in eight innings so far this season.

The Jays swept the Baltimore Orioles with a 5-4 win Sunday that saw Toronto score four runs in the eighth inning to complete the comeback.

Adalberto Mejia is expected to toe the rubber for the Twins Monday night.
