Canada hosts the world at the 2015 Women's World Cup, but which nations will they be inviting to the party?

North and Central America (CONCACAF)

There are three spots available to CONCACAF, including an automatic berth for Canada as hosts. The remaining two spots were awarded at the CONCACAF Women's Championship, which the United States hosted Oct. 16-26, 2014. An additional spot was available to be won by Trinidad and Tobago (who finished fourth) via a playoff with Ecuador but failed to win.

Europe (UEFA)

There are eight spots available to UEFA. Seven spots were awarded at the conclusion of group play on Sept. 17 while the final berth was awarded to the Netherlands with a 3-2 playoff series victory over Italy on November 27.

South America (CONMEBOL)

There are three spots available to CONMEBOL. Colombia and Brazil qualified by finishing first and second at the CONMEBOL Women's Championship, which Ecuador hosted Sept. 11-28, 2014. An additional spot was filled by Ecuador (who finished third), following victories over Trinidad and Tobago on Nov. 8 and Dec. 2.
