Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Michal Neuvirth is set to miss four-to-six weeks with a lower-body injury, the team announced Sunday.

Neuvirth, 28, was injured in the first period of Saturday's win over the Minnesota Wild. He stopped six of seven shots in the first period of the game, but did not return after the first intermission.

The Czech Republic native owns a 4-2 record with a 3.54 goals against average and a .859 save percentage in nine games (eight starts) this season.

Neuvirth posted an 18-8-4 record last year in 32 games with a 2.27 GAA and a .924 save percentage.

Steve Mason is currently the only healthy goaltender for the Flyers, who will likely recall a netminder from the AHL.
