The Philadelphia Flyers have placed forward Jori Lehtera on waivers, general manager Chuck Fletcher announced Wednesday.

Lehtera, 31, has one goal and three points in 27 games with the Flyers this season and last dressed for the team on Jan. 19. He has dressed for just three games since Dec. 15.

He is in the final year of his contract and carries a $4.7 million cap hit on the three-year deal he signed with the St. Louis Blues in 2015. He had a breakout rookie season with the Blues in 2014-15 with 14 goals and 33 points in 75 games, but he has failed to reach those totals since.

Lehtera was traded to the Flyers, along with a first-round pick, from the Blues in 2017 for Brayden Schenn.
