HAMILTON - Matt Frattin extended his scoring streak to four games with a pair of goals as the Toronto Marlies doubled up the host Hamilton Bulldogs 4-2 on Friday in American Hockey League play.

The 27-year-old winger has five goals in his past four outings and 15 in 30 games played, which leads all Toronto skaters.

Connor Brown also scored twice for the Marlies (20-18-9), while prospect William Nylander tacked on an assist to give him five points in eight games since coming over from Sweden.

T.J. Hensick and Daniel Carr supplied the scoring for the Bulldogs (24-19-6), who had won back-to-back outings and eight of 10 contests prior to Friday.

Frattin opened the scoring at 17:14 of the first period and Brown added two more goals in the second period to make it 3-0 Toronto after 40 minutes of play.

Hensick put Hamilton on the board at 15:03 of the third before Frattin responded for the Marlies just 1:31 later.

Carr added a goal in the final minute of regulation while the Bulldogs had their goaltender out to play 6-on-5 hockey.

Christopher Gibson made 33 saves for Toronto as Mike Condon stopped 21-of-25 shots for Hamilton.

The Marlies went 0 for 2 on the power play while the Bulldogs failed to convert on three chances with the man advantage.
