The Montreal Canadiens have agreed to terms with forward Jacob de la Rose on a two-year, $1.8 million contract.

De La Rose appeared in 55 games last season for the Canadiens and posted four goals and eight assists with a minus-2 rating.

The 23-year-old has played 119 NHL games over four seasons, all with the Canadiens and has scored eight goals and added 11 assists.

De La Rose was selected in the second round, 34th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
