Canada's Brooke Henderson finished her day in a tie for seventh place, 8-under par overall after shooting 3-under par in the third round of the Women's British Open. Henderson falls just five strokes behind leader Pornanong Phatlum of Thailand ahead of the fourth and final round of the tournament.

The 20-year-old shot even-par through the first five holes, but was able to elevate her game with birdies at No 6 and No 9 to give her a 2-under advantage. She kept her solid play going until a bogey on the par 4 No 14 put her in eleventh place at 1-under. However, Henderson was quick to recover and shot birdies on No 15 and No 18 to bring her third round total to 3-under 72. This was enough to bring the Smith Falls native up in standings after finishing T-8th in the second round.

Henderson will tee off tomorrow at 9 am ET.
