Forward Jared Boll will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Thursday for his illegal check to the head of Anaheim Ducks forward Patrick Maroon. The incident occured in the second period of the Blue Jackets 5-3 win on Tuesday night. Maroon remained down for several seconds after the hit but did not leave the game.
