Toronto Maple Leafs

Goaltender Frederik Andersen will return to the crease Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Andersen missed the Leafs' previous two games with an upper-body injury after contact with Dallas Stars forward Alexander Radulov last Wednesday.

The 28-year-old has a 33-18-5 record this season with a 2.79 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.

Ottawa Senators

Captain Erik Karlsson will miss Tuesday's game against the Florida Panthers due to illness, head coach Guy Boucher confirmed.

Karlsson and Mark Stone were not on the ice for the Senators Tuesday morning, according to TSN's Brent Wallace. Karlsson also did not skate Monday.

Forward Ryan Dzingel skated with a non-contact jersey as he works his way back from a head injury he sustained Saturday night when he took a puck to the head off a shot from teammate Mike Hoffman

He did not skate the day before. In 69 games, he has 20 goals and 13 assists. 

The Senators made a pair of roster moves Tuesday, recalling defenceman Patrick Sieloff and forward Jim O'Brien ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Florida Panthers. 

Sieloff has played in one NHL game with the Calgary Flames in April of 2016, scoring a goal in his debut.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Forward Ondrej Palat will return Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, head coach Jon Cooper announced. 

Palat has been out of the lineup since Jan. 20 with a lower-body injury. The ailment is believed to be a high ankle sprain after he took a slash to the back of the leg.

In 46 games so far this season, he has eight goals and 22 assists. 


Montreal Canadiens

Head coach Claude Julien said forward Alex Galchenyuk left Tuesday's pratice with a hand injury and will be re-evaluated Wednesday.

In 73 games, the 24-year-old has 16 goals and 28 assists. 

Canadiens forwards Brendan Gallagher and Paul Byron both missed Tuesday's practice for therapy days, the team announced. 

Gallagher leads the team with 26 goals and 44 points, while Byron sits third in goals with 17. 

They will visit PPG Paints Arena Wednesday to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils announced forward Miles Wood will miss Tuesday's game against the San Jose Sharks with an upper-body injury.

He is considered day-to-day and will be re-evaluated Wednesday. 

In 69 games, the 22-year-old has 17 goals and 12 assists. 


Washington Capitals

Injured forward Brooks Orpik (lower-body) skated for the Capitals at their optional skate Tuesday. The defenceman has nine assists in 71 games. 

Head coach Barry Trotz said it is doubtful he suits up against the Dallas Stars Tuesday night. 


Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks have recalled forward Andreas Martinsen on an emergency basis ahead of their Tuesday matchup with the Colorado Avalanche. 

In 26 games so far this season for the Rockford IceHogs, he has 12 goals and 14 assists. He was acquired by Chicago in an off-season trade in exchange for Kyle Baun.

The 27-year-old spent last season with the Montreal Canadiens but failed to record a point in nine games.
