Pittsburgh Penguins forward Greg McKegg, Washington's Tyler Graovac and Chicago's Tanner Kero have all cleared waivers today. -Pierre Lebrun

McKegg played 26 games for the Penguins this season recording 2 goals and two assists in that time. 

Graovac spent five games with the Capitals after being called up. He was a -3 and failed to record a point. 

Kero appeared in 8 games for the Blackhawks and had 3 points in 8 games with the club. 


Montreal Canadiens 

Forward Jonathan Drouin could return to the lineup tonight as the Montreal Canadiens take on the Calgary Flames. -Pat Hickey

Drouin has been battling the flu ever since recovering from a lower-body injury. 

Defenceman Shea Weber is expected to play on tonight against the Calgary Flames after missing practice on Wednesday. -Pat Hickey

Weber recently returned to the lineup from a lower-body injury. He's recorded two goals and one assist in two games since coming back. 


Calgary Flames

Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan says that Jaromir Jagr will be a game-time decision to face the Canadiens tonight. 

Jagr missed the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday. 

Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks have placed defenceman Hampus Lindhold on the injured reserve. -Eric Stephens

Lindholm won't be eligible to play on Friday and has missed the last two games because of an upper-body injury. 


Vegas Golden Knights

Forward David Perron could return to the Golden Knights lineup by Friday. -Las Vegas Review-Journal

Perron is dealing with an upper-body injury that has kept his sidelined since November 24.

The forward told reporters "I think I'm real close."


Pittsburgh Penguins 

Defenceman Frank Corrado has been called up to the Pittsburgh Penguins from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

In a corresponding move, defenceman Justin Schultz has been placed on the injured reserve. 

Corrado has played in three games for the Penguins this year, recording no points.

In 12 AHL games Corrado has a goal and four assists. 

Schultz is dealing with a lower-body injury.  


Washington Capitals 

Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie didn't participate in practice today. - Tom Gulitti

Oshie was hurt on Monday and missed Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks with an upper-body injury. 

Andre Burakovsky is ready to return after missing 20 games with a broken left thumb. 

Burakovsky said head coach Barry Trotz told him he will play on Friday. -Tom Gulitti

The Capitals have also re-assigned Travis Boyd to the AHL Hershey Bears.

Boyd made his NHL debut on December 4 and has appeared in two games.

The 24-year-old has recorded three goals and 20 points in 23 games with Hershey.
