The Jacksonville Jaguars acquired backup quarterback Cody Kessler from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a conditional seventh round draft pick, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Kessler appeared in just three games for the Browns last season but had eight starts the year before when he was a rookie.

The 24-year-old is 139-218 for 1,506 yards and six touchdowns to three interceptions in 12 games, with eight starts, for his career.
