Jays add Tepera to replace injured Cecil
The Toronto Blue Jays announced on Saturday that reliever Ryan Tepera had been added to its postseason roster in place of the injured Brett Cecil. Cecil tore a calf muscle in Friday's 14-inning loss to the Texas Rangers.

The Toronto Blue Jays announced on Saturday that reliever Ryan Tepera had been added to its postseason roster in place of the injured Brett Cecil.
Cecil tore a calf muscle in Friday's 14-inning loss to the Texas Rangers.
Tepera appeared in 32 games this past season for the Jays, posting a 0-2 record and a 3.27 earmed-run average in 33 innings. A native of Lake Jackson, Texas, Tepera only allowed 23 hits.
He also made 21 appearances for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons where he was 3-1 with a 1.06 ERA.
With Cecil out of the lineup, Aaron Loup stands as the team's only left-handed reliever.
The Jays and Rangers meet in Game 3 on Sunday night from Arlington. Marco Estrada is set to take the hill for the Jays. He is opposed by Martin Perez.
The Rangers lead the American League Division Series 2-0.
