Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk will not be suiting up for the team in their opening Spring Training games as he deals with having plantar fasciitis.

Grichuk – who dealt with this same issue towards the end of the 2018 season – is expected to be in the Jays lineup Tuesday.

After getting off to a slow start to his tenure with the team Grichuk recovered nicely, and the 6-1, 205 lbs outfielder hit .245 with 61 RBI and a career high 25 home runs in his first season with Toronto.
