The Winnipeg Jets have recalled goaltender Jamie Phillips from the AHL's Manitoba Moose for depth ahead of their first playoff game.

Phillips, 25, had been serving as the third goaltender for the Moose, behind Second-Team AHL All-Star Michael Hutchinson and Eric Comrie.

He has a 6-7 record in 16 games at the AHL level this season with a .912 save percentage and a 2.76 goals-against average.

Phillips, a seventh-round pick of the Jets in 2012, has also played 16 games in the ECHL this season with the Jacksonville Icemen. He posted a 3-11 record in Jacksonville with an .892 save percentage.

Connor Hellebuyck will start Game 1 of the Jets' first-round series against the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday night. Steve Mason will serve as the team's backup, while Phillips is expected to be in the building as an emergency third goaltender.
