Saskatchewan Roughriders starting quarterback Zach Collaros is still week-to-week with a concussion, according to head coach Chris Jones.

When asked about Collaros' availability for the game on Thursday against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Jones said “I talked to Zach Sunday, he feels a whole lot better he’s not 100 per cent, I told him that I’m going to treat him like I would my son, my expectation levels are he does everything he can do to get back and I’m not going to stick him out there until he’s 100.”

Jones also said that quarterback Brandon Bridge will be the starter against the Ticats.

In three games with the Roughriders so far this year, Bridge has thrown for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

Collaros suffered the injury in week two against the Redblacks and was sacked in the first quarter while took a number of big hits including one by Avery Ellis, which appeared to be the one that forced him to leave the game in the second quarter.

The Riders sit fourth in the West at 2-2.
