NEW YORK — Colorado Avalanche winger Gabriel Landeskog, Edmonton Oilers centre Connor McDavid and Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury are the NHL's three stars of the week.

Landeskog was named the week's first star after putting up six goals and an assist in seven games. The Avalanche captain recorded his third career hat trick in a 5-3 win over New Jersey on Thursday.

McDavid had two goals and four assists in three games to claim second-star honours. The Oilers captain became the first player in NHL history to record a point on nine consecutive team goals to begin a season.

Fleury went 2-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and .956 save percentage to backstop the Golden Knights to a perfect week and a 4-4-0 record overall. Fleury earned his 408th career victory in a 3-1 win over Anaheim on Saturday to pass Glenn Hall for sole possession of 10th on the NHL's all-time wins list.
