VANCOUVER — The B.C. Lions signed pending free agent defensive back T.J. Lee to a two-year contract extension on Sunday.

Lee is coming off one of his best seasons as a pro, leading the club with 81 tackles along with a pair of special teams stops, two sacks, two forced fumbles and three interceptions through 18 games.

Lee had at least five tackles in nine games last season and added a 37-yard interception for a touchdown in a game against the Montreal Alouettes in September.

His consistent play was recognized with his first CFL All-Star selection.
