Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that the team has agreed to terms with wide receiver Lance Moore on a one-year contract.

Moore, who delivered a 1,000-yard season for New Orleans in 2012 and was a member of the Saints' 2009 Super Bowl XLIV champion team, managed just 14 catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns with Pittsburgh last season. He was released by the Steelers in March.

The 31-year-old spent nine seasons with the Saints prior to joining the Steelers in 2014. Moore amassed 344 catches totaling 4,281 yards with 78 touchdowns during his tenure in New Orleans.

Moore will be reunited with current Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, an offensive assistant for the Saints from 2007-09 and the team's quarterbacks coach from 2009-13.
